Posts: 51 Jun 5 05 5:41 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None Sometimes when my truck idles, my rpm will drop down erratically and black smoke will start to belch from my exhaust. If I rev it up a couple of times it will usually clear up, but not always. Any ideas? Throttle sensor? O2? MAP?

Posts: 39 Jun 13 05 5:38 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I would change the O2 sensors if they have not been changed. Or at least check for what code is thrown. I had about a 2 wk warning of my truck acting funny, not taking the gas, sometime starting hard before they finally went. If you getting black smoke, then the system is trying to richen what it thinks is a lean situation. Dan

Posts: 51 Jun 29 05 11:46 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just replaced my O2's, the Idle seems much smoother, but no other noticable gains. I'll run a couple of tanks through it and post back my results. I used to get around 550km's to 115litres, lately I've been lucky to get 425.
