I was thinking of mounting a remote turbo far back on the exhaust to add some power to my 95 v10.
Any other thoughts/advice on this idea? I was planning on finding a turbo for cheap on ebay and just rigging it up to run at low boost, around 5 psi. |

Most hi-po successes start this way; with experimentation. STS (Squires Turbo Sysems) does work along these lines already (and at great cost)! Along with the
extra boost, extra fuel would be needed, and you would eventually want to go to the maximum with a working system.. I'd recommend a boost gauge with an
air/fuel meter just to make sure you stay in a safe zone while under boost. I would imagine even a low and safe level of boost would do a fair bit for our
trucks, plus the turbo could act as a muffler of sorts, so no need for mufflers, and that great turbo whine would be sweet!
