The headlights on my 96 ram stay on all the time. I have to pull the fuse when i shut it off to save the battery.I think it might be the daytime running lights
that is causing the problem since i pulled the headlight switch out of the circuit but to no avail.If anyone has experienced this problem please let me know
as i like to avoid the dealership like the plague. I hate the flat rate manual with a passion.thanks all.

Might be a stuck relay. IF it is then removing the headlight switch won't solve the problem. Relay is 12bucks at autozone if so. As a note, there is the
possibility that you have melted the harness as that is a known issue for the ram trucks. Lots of towing and such can overload the harness and melt some of the
wires together. Basically you have to check for shorts and repair. IF it is not your cup of tea take it to the dealership. Otherwise get a Multimeter from
lowes for 39 bucks and go to town.
